JAMES ORENGO ACCUSES JUNET MOHAMED OF BETRAYING RAILA ODINGA LEGACY

Siaya Governor and ODM party leader James Orengo has publicly criticized Junet Mohamed in a strong statement, accusing him of betraying the late Raila Odinga, popularly known as BABA, and misusing party resources while allegedly acting as a spy for President William Ruto within the ODM party. Speaking during a public forum, Orengo claimed that Odinga died deeply disappointed with Mohamed and said Mohamed is now bragging because no one is holding him accountable. He further challenged Mohamed’s political influence, saying the 2027 elections will determine whether Mohamed can retain his Suna East seat without Odinga’s support, highlighting growing tensions and divisions within Kenya’s opposition political landscape.

RESOURCE CENTER EMPOWERS COAST GIRLS WITH TRAINING ON BOUNDARIES, CONSENT AND PERMISSION BY PATIENCE SAMBA        The Resource Center for Women and Girls has carried out training sessions across the Coast region to equip girls and women with essential life skills, including how to set personal boundaries, how to understand and give consent, and how to ask for permission in different situations. The non-governmental organisation has reached groups in Makupa, Mombasa County, and Kilifi County, conducting physical, interactive lessons aimed at empowering participants.
